i'm sooo psyched!

today i took my placement test for community college.  i did good ya'll! i scored a 98 on my reading, a 99 on my writing skillz & a *(&^%$ on my math :}

so the reading and the writing, i got those. Fifty-something years worth of practice, duh.  and always the proofreader, i excel in finding mistakes and critiquing written stuff, wherever it may be found.  (hope there are no errors in that there sentence:) 

the math portion was third.  i swear i could FEEL my left brain TRYING with all it's little might to kick in.  you ever felt that sensation?  can't say that i was ever aware of it, but today it was definitely the weirdest thing i have ever sensed happening to me, lol!

anyway, i scored a commendable (for me) 83 on pre-algebra and a lowly 23 on algebra.  that means i only have to take ONE remedial math course and then i'm in the money honey!

there were some OTHER kids in the testing room taking the formidable ACT test (show-offs)....but i'll take my humble little COMPASS test victory thank you very much. ! ;-) 

i decided ima take the summer to hang out with my grand isle buddy (since that's the ONLY place we ever go away from this crawfish hole to hang out together)!  then come the fall i will be a community college drop-in ya'll.  math 094 here i come!
