Tonight we enjoyed time with old friends with plenty of fried seafood:) it's so comforting spending time with people that you have known practically your whole life, isn't it? so much history. we need to do that more often.
Well, last thursday i handed in an english paper and had my second algebra test. fingers crossed that i did well on both. i will have to refine and add another page and a power point to that particular paper for my final one. looking forward to it because i plan on doing an interview for my power point.....if i can figure out how to actually video tape an interview on my iphone (i guess), upload it onto the internet (i guess) and get it up on the screen in class?
I am enjoying these few days before beginning a new algebra unit and in between writing english essays. i also had only two relatively easy birthday cakes for the weekend, so that was relaxing as well. i find it kind of hard to multitask all of the priorities of my life nowadays. it's just nice not to have to THINK or STUDY. i have so much admiration for people who juggle the responsibility of school, work, family, etc. i am meeting so many of them (including a lot of older adults) at school, and the commitment it takes just boggles my mind.
i can't see myself ever holding down more than 2 classes per semester if my life stays the way it is now. at that rate, i don't know if i will ever really "finish". i am confident though, that if i can keep my focus on committing my way to God daily and surrendering my mind, will and emotions to Him, He will not only make a way, but He will change me in the process, and cause my affections to be directed to the paths that will move me forward. and i really believe that he will also provide the connections and opportunities that are needed to fulfill whatever this thing is that He is doing in my life. well, that's what i think anyway.
or something like that.
