january 5

thankfuls from 2014:

1.  passed all my college courses. (all 4, lol!).....finally made it into COLLEGE ALGEBRA and passed with a b, by the skin of my chinny chin-chin.....and a mighty BIG curve by my teacher if you ask me!  idcare tho......milestone!!

2.  chuck and i went on our first out of the country vacation.  and the first time we have been anywhere alone, except for grand isle and that time we brought charlie's truck up to minnesota and stayed with them for a couple days.  we had a GREAT time in Jaimaca....even though he swears he caught mono from a little boy that coughed incessantly on the plane ride home.   we have bonded so well together after our marriage counseling rounds last year.  i am so thankful for it.  we really feel like a team.  a dream-come-true team. who woulda thunk it!

3.  went to jim and tiffany's wedding in oregon with risa.  we had SUCH  a great time and we are awesome traveling buddies :)

4.  the conception of our second grandchild....arisa jane loup.....was announced!  coming in march, 2015!!

5.  i finally joined the ymca and am loving exercising there 2 or 3 times per week.  you really do get addicted to working out once you begin!

6.  saw risa purchase and move into her own place just down the road.  didn't have to be "just down the road", but still....she has her own place and it is precious.

7.  saw charlie's farming operation take off, and his reputation continues to grow.

8.  saw nic and fox continue to develop strong daddy-son bonds.

9.  finally settled some personal issues with a close family member.  hoping to build a better, more happy and carefree relationship as time rolls on.

great day today.  began working on the extra bedrooms in the house.  rearranging and decluttering.  makes a body feel good....i mean a mind feel good.....clearing out the inner cobwebs has a whole heck-of-a lot to do with doing some changing on the outside too.

nice afternoon with fox.  i swear, he is flirting with his pop pop.  he is actually finding it within himself to answer chuck back.....albeit sometimes with a scream...then a grin:)  but they are getting into a routine of teasing one another just a teeny weeny bit.....but hey, anyting is progress in that dept.  i am thrilled to the core!  it also helps that chuck is taking a lighter approach to him..and smiling a whole lot more at him.....and it is working wonders.  he seems quite pleased with how it is goin.  yay, go God!
